June 20 Summit on Elder Abuse to Focus on Neglect and Hoarding

The Center for the Study of Aging in conjunction with the Justice Alliance for Vulnerable Adults (JAVA) is hosting the 2014 Summit on Elder Abuse on June 20 at Boise State University.

Randy Frost, a nationally recognized author and researcher on hoarding, will provide the keynote presentation. The primary focus for the event is self-neglect and neglect, specifically hoarding, medication misuse, and suicide. These behaviors have a significant impact on the individual and their community, as well as the mental and behavioral health professionals involved in prevention, intervention, and advocacy.

You are cordially invited to join us for this one-day educational event. Registration is $65 for individuals, with a discount for multiple attendees from the same organization. Students may register for free, but must provide a valid student ID.
