Boise State has been ranked sixth in the nation for online master’s in social work programs by Intelligent.com, a trusted resource for online degree rankings and higher education planning.

With many of the social work program’s students living outside of Idaho, Boise State’s online program also was recognized as the best program for out-of-state students. The website cited Boise State’s amazing faculty work and the “quality education that can help students achieve their career aspirations.”

Intelligent.com assessed 121 accredited colleges and universities. Each program was evaluated on curriculum, quality, graduation rate, reputation and postgraduate employment.

However, it’s not just national rankings that set Boise State’s Master’s of Social Work Online program apart.

“The way the program was structured – the many conference calls, video chats and group projects – made me feel like a regular student,” said alumna Patrice Elmore, who graduated summer 2019. “I did not feel like I was missing out and I still had the opportunity to create bonds with my classmates. I was able to intern at a few different agencies where my professors would video call and get to talk to my agency field instructors about my progress, limitations and goals.”
