Two Boise State alumni were featured in an Idaho Press article about their work with COVID-19 contact tracing at Southwest District Health.
Rachel Phinney and Andrew Nutting, both May 2020 Master of Health Science graduates from Boise State, were hired this fall at Southwest District Health to help the district’s response to increasing COVID-19 numbers. Phinney was hired as an epidemiologist and Nutting as a Covid-19 investigator; both are working on the long-term care facilities task force. Both find educating the public highly rewarding.
