The University of Washington School of Medicine’s Office of Healthcare Equity is accepting applications for the Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP)! Freshman and sophomore undergraduate students who are underrepresented (racially/ethnically and/or socioeconomically) and are interested in a career in healthcare are all invited to apply! Several webinars are free to attend in order to learn more about SHPEP.
The program itself will take place from June 20 through July 29, 2022 and at this time the 6 week program is expected to be in person. Food and housing is free, we offer a travel stipend of up to $500 and also a stipend of $600 for attending.
