Submit a Work Order

Our online work order system lets you quickly report maintenance or custodial issues in your room, apartment, or building. Requests go straight to our Facilities supervisors for prompt attention.

You must be connected to the EDUROAM Wi-Fi network to access the site.

By submitting a request, you authorize staff to enter your space to complete the work, even if you’re not home. We can’t schedule appointments, but we’ll leave a door hanger to let you know we were there.

*Remember, you must be connected to EDUROAM WIFI to access the website. If you are not on campus or are unable to connect to EDUROAM, you may call your front desk to submit a work order. Desk phone numbers are listed at the bottom of this page.

If you have any issues in your bedroom, bathroom(s), suite, apartment, or building, submit a work order by clicking the link.

Filling Out The Maintenance Request

  1. You will fill out your name, date, and email address
  2. Click the “Notify Me” checkbox, so you will be notified when your work order is complete!

3. Choose your Building Name from the dropdown menu.

4. After you have chosen your Building Name, you can choose your Room # from the dropdown menu:

5. Remember to check the box if you have a pet! Please describe the type of animal in the Action Requested box below, along with a description of your request:

6. If you can, take a picture of the issue and upload it to your Maintenance Request using the Attach File dropdown menu and choosing the file type:

7. Once you’re done, hit the Submit Request button and we will get started on resolving your issue!

Best Practices for the Best Service 

  • Check your email often! We may have emailed you an update on the status of your work order, need to schedule a contractor for the repair, or- in the case of a pet – have tried to schedule a day and time maintenance personnel can enter your unit while you are present to either supervise or take your furry friend with you.
  • Make sure you enter the building and room number that needs maintenance.
  • If you have a pet, please be sure to check the box and state the type of animal in the description of your request.
  • Be as descriptive as possible when explaining your maintenance request. This helps our team to know how best to repair your issue.
  • Provide a picture when you can! This also helps our team to know exactly what is going on and better respond to your maintenance request.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why can’t I get the form to load/link to work?
    • Make sure you are logged into the University’s WiFi (eduroam) or VPN. Using your cellular network data, Bronco Guest, or private WiFi will not work. 
  • What if I don’t know what is wrong?
    • Make sure to put as much detail into the Action Requested dialogue box, explaining what you do know, and our Maintenance Craftspeople will be over to troubleshoot your issue!
  • Why hasn’t my work order been resolved yet?
    • There are many reasons work may have been delayed. Our maintenance personnel will leave a door-knocker explaining any hold-ups related to the repair. If in doubt, don’t be afraid to reach out to us! We love to hear from our residents, so send us an email at housingtma@boisestate.edu for any questions or concerns.
  • Why do you need my phone number?
    • If we run into any problems with your maintenance request, our office will be able to reach you more quickly. Some of the reasons we may reach out would be:
      • The room number listed was incorrect.
      • We need to schedule or reschedule an appointment for the repair.
      • If our maintenance personnel cannot find the issue.
