Employee Assistance Program

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free, confidential service that provides short-term counseling services to eligible employees and their families to help address personal and work-life issues. You may contact the EAP by phone to speak with a professional counselor who will listen to your concerns and guide you to the appropriate services you need. You may receive unlimited support by telephone, or go online to access timely, expert information on thousands of topics, including access to resource and referral information. BPA Health is the provider for EAP services for the State of Idaho.

You do not have to enroll in a medical plan to participate in the EAP. However, if you are enrolled in a medical plan, you may be able to maximize your benefits by accessing the free services of the EAP before using behavioral health benefits, which require you to pay a share of the cost.
