  1. Describe and apply major chemical concepts and theoretical principles across the sub disciplines of chemistry
  2. Use a wide variety of laboratory techniques and instrumentation to address a chemical problem
  3. Understand and apply fundamentals of laboratory safety
  4. Identify a chemical problem, formulate a hypothesis and design appropriate experiments to test it
  5. Analyze and evaluate scientific data and determine its meaning, validity and importance

Chemistry MS

  1. Collect and analyze scientific evidence from literature.
  2. Conduct independent research using the scientific method to generate new knowledge.
  3. Communicate research findings, orally and written, to scientific and lay audiences.
  4. Acquire and apply advanced scientific knowledge and skills in chemistry and/or related disciplines.
  5. Learn ethical principles involved in responsible conduct of research.
  6. Acquire and apply qualitative and quantitative skills required to interpret scientific data.
