GRANT WRITING
The next opportunity for the grant writing course is scheduled to begin on September 11, 2024. It is a 12-week Grant Writing Program tailored for junior faculty in the upcoming fall semester. Similar to previous iterations, the aim is to enroll precisely 16 participants, primarily targeting junior faculty or postdocs. Upon completion of this 12-week course, participants are expected to have drafted a comprehensive grant proposal ready for submission to a funding organization. The course will cover both investigator-initiated grants (resembling R-type grants to NIH) and career-development grants (similar to K-type grants).
Cost: $3,300 per enrollee (A limited number of matching funds will be available from ITHS)
Application Requirements:
- A paragraph listing the objectives of the grant
- An LOI from your mentor to two efforts of work this fall
- Selected applicants will be interviewed
