Chip Chats offers workshops for K–12 educators to bring hands-on learning into their classrooms. At this conference, teachers can choose workshops that best fit the grade levels they teach, including hands-on sessions such as micro:bits, Arduino, unplugged/camp-style activities, and more!

What is it?

  • Week-long professional development learning experience for K-12 educators in Idaho and across the country
  • Variety of hands-on workshops emphasizing career exploration and building educator expertise in microelectronics
  • Continuing education credits available
  • Exciting activities include a Micron Headquarters tour, AI applications, Snap Circuits, Arduino projects, and other interactive STEM experiences

Traveling?: Reimbursement of travel expenses to participants traveling from outside of the Treasure Valley (Idaho educators)
