Brass Band Academy

Join professional musicians from the Brass Band of the Treasure Valley for a weekend of brass and percussion music at the BBTV Brass Band Academy! Musicians between the ages of 14-20 are invited to experience what it is like to perform traditional British Brass Band music (on traditional brass band instruments, where available) and learn from some of the best musicians in the area. Performers will attend two evenings of rehearsals and coaching sessions culminating with a performance on May 13th under the baton of Dr. Bill Waterman, music director and principal conductor of the Brass Band of the Treasure Valley.

Students interested in participating should contact their band director or private lessons instructor to be nominated. Limited spots are available. Successful nominees will receive a commemorative t-shirt, coaching with professional musicians, and will reserve the opportunity to perform on the final concert all for just $75.00.
