About Us
Woodwind players at Boise State are part of a strong music department offering degrees in performance and education as well as the BA in music ( view our degrees here). We provide a comprehensive musical education with a liberal arts foundation that enables you to pursue a multitude of career paths after graduation. With studios providing individual instruction, camaraderie, access to auxiliary instruments, and instrument choirs, you have the opportunity as a woodwind player at Boise State to join Symphonic Winds (one of the premier wind bands in the Northwest), the University Symphony Orchestra, Blue Thunder Marching Band, Jazz Orchestra, All-Campus Concert Band, and a wide variety of chamber music ensembles.
