He is the Assistant Professor of Choral Music Education/Assistant Director of Choral Activities at Boise State University, where he directs the University Singers, teaches courses in Music Education, including Secondary Choral Methods and supervises student teachers. He is a National Board Certified Teacher whose greatest passion is to empower his students to develop their artistic and creative capacities, enable them to be a part of a musical community, and provide opportunities where they will experience the power and value of music.

He has taught various levels of music for twelve years in New Jersey, Illinois and Nevada. He has held conducting appointments for Reno Philharmonic Chorus, Carson Chamber Singers and Reno Baroque Ensemble and has worked with many other ensembles throughout the country. He has also served in various state-wide leadership roles for the American Choral Directors Association and the National Association for Music Educators.

He has sung tenor or countertenor in such renowned ensembles as the Westminster Choir, Westminster Kantorei, Westminster Symphonic Choir and Westminster Williamson Voices. In past summers, he sang with the Westminster Choir at Spoleto Festival U.S.A., the Westminster Chamber Choir and Festival Chorus, and conducted and sang in the Norfolk Chamber Choir of Yale University.

He and his wife and daughters are coming to us from the Reno-Tahoe area, and they are looking forward to new adventures in the Northwest.
