Joanne Klein presented the paper, “Using Identity and Gender to Shape the English Police Character, 1829-2000,” to the European Social Science History Conference in Belfast, Ireland, on April 4.
She also served as chair and discussant for the session, “Rethinking Criminal Justice,” on April 7.
