Pei-Lin Yu presented a paper on her field research among Taiwan’s tribal farmers entitled “Ethnoarchaeology of Neolithic Crop Resiliency and Adoption by Ancient Foragers of Taiwan” at the International Conference on Hunting and Gathering Societies in Penang, Malaysia.
While at the conference, Yu spoke with Australian Aboriginal hunter-gatherers, San hunter-gatherers of Botswana and Penan tribeswomen of Malaysia about foraging, farming and ecosystem health and sustainability.
