Jonathan Lashley delivered the keynote address at Northeastern State University’s Community and Collaboration Day. His talk, “Our Enormous Responsibility: Open Appeals to the Education Community,” provided an overview of higher education’s relationship with course materials and showcased a number of cases in which Open Educational Resources (OER) are transforming learning experiences for students at Boise State and elsewhere. His accompanying workshop, “Getting OER Together,” empowered NSU faculty and academic leaders to ask questions and think strategically about what OER implementation might look like in their respective units.
