Open Educational Resource Grant Proposals Due by April 30

The Boise State University Office of the Provost has made grant funding available to encourage experimentation with course materials that are free and openly licensed. The grants for these open educational resources are intended to grow the Boise State academic community’s awareness of how open educational resources can complement or replace expensive teaching and learning resources. Proposals for this funding period must be submitted by April 30.

This round of grants focuses on Common-Indexed General Education Matriculation courses specifically, but additional funding may be available for proposals that address cost and access issues for required materials in other courses.

Individual faculty members, faculty groups, faculty and professional staff groups, as well as faculty and student groups, are encouraged to apply. A link to the application, as well as examples of sample projects and budgets, are available at: Boise State OER Support Grants or you can email oer@boisestate.edu for more information and assistance with proposals.
