Boise State President Marlene Tromp will deliver her inaugural State of the University address to faculty and staff at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, on the main stage of the Morrison Center.
Dr. Tromp will provide an overview of recent accomplishments and a look ahead to the opportunities, priorities and goals for the near future. This annual message is intended for the entire campus community, and the general public is welcome to attend.
The Morrison Center prohibits large bags, water bottles and coffee mugs, and security screening will be in place at all entrances. Please arrive early if you can. Both the campus-side and river-side doors will be open.
The president’s annual picnic will follow the State of the University address on the Quad. Other activities this week include:

University Foundations Welcome Back

University Foundations welcomes back to campus instructors of UF 100 and 200 who teach the two common courses for all Boise State students (approximately 6,000 students annually). The meeting will update faculty on instructional and assessment goals and professional development opportunities. This is a chance for instructors to ask questions and discuss issues with colleagues.
