This article, “Donald Trump’s tariffs on China don’t hurt Americans, top Trump adviser says. That’ Pants on Fire,” assesses various statements about trade made by President Trump and his chief trade advisor, Peter Navarro.
In it, Burkhart noted that there was no evidence of prices being cut in the U.S. on the scale of the tariffs that the U.S. has imposed on China, contrary to President Trump’s assertion.
