Matt Lundgren assumed the position of interim director for the Office of Research Compliance Sept. 19, following the retirement of director Judie Mayne.
Formerly the associate director of research compliance, Lundgren came to Boise State in 2008 as the lab safety officer in the Department of Environmental Health, Safety and Sustainability. He transitioned to the Office of Research Compliance in 2012.
Interim Vice President for Research, Harold Blackman spoke of Lundgren’s new position, saying “Matt is experienced and totally prepared to take the reins of compliance.”
Research compliance provides assistance to faculty, staff and students in certain areas of research, and some academic activities, to comply with federal, state and local laws/regulations, as well as certain sponsor requirements and university policies.
