Student leaders wanted for summer 2020 orientations

New Student Programs is looking for student leaders for summer 2020 orientations.

Students who become orientation leaders get the opportunity to develop a personal leadership style, build professional confidence, develop communication skills and work with their peers toward a common goal: helping incoming students and their families experience a smooth transition into the Bronco family.

By sharing their knowledge of the many opportunities available on campus, telling their stories and embodying the positive spirit that is Boise State University, orientation leaders help new Broncos feel at home before they even start classes.

New Student Programs is recruiting students from a wide variety of backgrounds: right out of high school, transfer students, nontraditional, veterans, local residents, as well as out of state.

Student information sessions will be held:

    • 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, in the Student Union Building Bergquist Lounge.
    • 4-5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, in the Student Union Building Bergquist Lounge.

Employees who know a second- or third-year student who is passionate Boise State should encourage students to apply on Handshake by Friday, January 24.
