The Office of Information Technology provides services and resources for faculty and staff who choose to work from home or other remote locations:
- Boise State virtual private networking (VPN) helps protect employee data by ensuring secure network connectivity over public Wi-Fi networks, and allows access to network shares and remote desktop.
- Microsoft Office and several mathematical and statistical programs are provided at no charge for installation on personal computers.
- Zoom, Google Hangouts Meet, Panopto and other web-based services are available for employees to set up and/or participate in audio or video meetings, screencasts, or record and share video.
