Paid leave and the Families First Coronavirus Response Act of 2020

Boise State Human Resources (HR) is working hard to answer new employee questions and offer the campus community the best and most current information at its disposal to assist employees in these unique and trying times.

Effective April 1, Congress enacted the Families First Coronavirus Response Act. This act temporarily expands the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) for certain absences related to COVID-19. In partnership with the Division of Human Resources (DHR) and Boise State HR, new time codes and guidance is available.
