The Service-Learning (SL) Program seeks applicants for a Service-Learning faculty associate to collaborate with staff in expanding Service-Learning practices and course models. The faculty associate would focus on one of the following priority areas, depending on their expertise:
- Service-Learning in online classes
- Service-Learning in seven-week classes
- Inclusive excellence and social justice (in Service-Learning processes and outcomes)
- Onboarding faculty new to Service-Learning, with special emphasis on adjuncts and temporary instructors (develop online trainings, provide mentoring, etc.)
This position will require an average of 4-10 hours per week, August through May, for a one-to-three-year duration, depending on the availability of the candidate. The faculty associate reports to the director of Service-Learning.
