Luke Fowler, an associate professor of public policy and administration and Stephen Utych, an assistant professor of political science, authored an article for the April 4 edition of The Blue Review, Boise State’s journal of popular scholarship.

Who is Most Likely to Voluntarily Comply with COVID-19 Public Health Recommendations?” looks at the data surrounding compliance with health directives and explores why such compliance matters. Fowler and Utych suggest that in order to encourage voluntary compliance, it is important to first understand who is more likely to comply with these measures, and why.

Their article is the first piece in The Blue Review’s Coronavirus Conversations, a new series on the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.
