Fall sale offers reduced rate and free bike tune up for secure bike storage

The Cycle Learning Center (CLC) is offering a reduced rate for annual access to secure bike storage areas beginning Monday, Oct. 26.

The sale rate for parking at one of the three “bike barns” will be $50 annually, a savings of $10 off the normal price. The sale will last through the end of the fall 2020 semester.

Purchase of an annual pass during the sale also will include a free basic bike tune up — bikes are cleaned, tires are inflated, the chain is lubricated and cleaned, and minor adjustments are made to the brakes and shifting mechanisms.

There are three bike barns available for use by students and staff. They are located on the lower levels of the Lincoln Avenue and Brady Street garages, or in the City Center garage near Grove Plaza. All of these locations are video monitored 24 hours a day and provide secure bicycle parking out of the elements, reducing the risk of damage or theft over holiday breaks.

Access to the bike barns is controlled by a user’s Bronco Card and an annual pass provides access to all locations.

Questions about bike barn parking or any of the other services offered by the CLC can be directed to clc@boisestate.edu or (208) 426-7433.
