CAES Codebreak series invites all to attend a virtual seminar on the future of nuclear energy, led by Christine King. As the new director for Gateway for Accelerated Innovation in Nuclear (GAIN), King will share the ways in which the unique perspective of the GAIN team helps build successful private-public partnerships to enable the commercialization of a new nuclear fleet.
Her presentation will address how advanced reactors fit into a clean-energy future. The event will be live streamed from 3:30-5 p.m. MST Nov. 5.
King has nearly three decades of experience in the nuclear energy industry, most recently as operations director for an emerging venture capital firm focused on bringing private capital into the advanced nuclear sector. Her knowledge and experience also includes leading a nuclear division for a consulting firm and working in research and development with the Electric Power Research Institute.
