University Financial Services (UFS) is excited to announce that Gorane Stormoen has taken on the role of executive director of the Office of Continuous Improvement (OCI). Stormoen has a long history of working on successful process improvement and technology projects at Micron Technology, Inc where she worked for 20 years. She is a proven leader and strong facilitator. She started with OCI in 2019 and is excited to continue working with the team and help move Boise State forward.

Stormoen is already a familiar face to campus as she has overseen the quarterly Discovery sessions used to implement new Bronco Hub functionality, expanding them to include representation from Human Resources, the Office of Information Technology and the Office of Sponsored Programs when helpful. Campus has enjoyed having presenters from each area so they can have questions answered in real time.

With this promotion she has also taken over the campus engagement and change management aspect of the current Human Capital Management (HCM) project.

Stormoen looks forward to continuing to guide OCI in partnering with other UFS departments and the Boise State campus community in process improvement efforts. The OCI team will continue to support Bronco Hub and PeopleSoft for Student Financials and advocate for Oracle enhancements to serve the needs of campus. Join UFS in congratulating Gorane!
