Thomsen relates endangered brown bears with sustainable entrepreneurship in new article

Bastian Thomsen’s co-authored an article titled “Let’s Save the Bear: A multispecies livelihoods approach to wildlife conservation and achieving the SDGs” that was published in the Journal of the International Council for Small Business.

The Apennines brown bear, also known as Marsican, is a critically endangered subspecies of the European brown bear. It is estimated that only 50 to 60 currently remain in the wild. Thomsen co-authored the article to provide insight into how sustainable entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizations and researchers may consider the multispecies livelihoods approach to address the threat of species extinction, become more sustainable and achieve United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
