Lucy Zhao, associate professor of nursing, has received an award for Distinguished Education in Gerontological Nursing through the National Hartford Center of Gerontological Nursing Excellence. This award recognizes nurses for their expertise as an educator in gerontological nursing.
Additionally, Zhao’s manuscript, Nursing Interventions to Manage Postoperative Delirium: An Integrative Literature Review, has been accepted for publication in a future issue of “MEDSURG Nursing: the Journal of Adult Health.”
Zhao also co-authored an article titled Subsequent Pressure Injury Development in Mechanically Ventilated Critical Care Patients with Hospital-Acquired Pressure Injury: A Retrospective Cohort Study which was published in the August issue of the journal “Advances in Skin and Wound Care.”
