Idaho Dance Theatre presents ‘Follow Your Passion’

Performances take place at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 4-6 and at 2 p.m. on Nov. 7 at the Boise State Special Events Center.

The program features “River of Life – Journey of the Salmon,” a collaboration between Idaho Dance Theatre and the Idaho Chapter Sierra Club with original music, film and choreography by Boise State faculty Eric Alexander, Rulon Wood, Marla Hansen, director of Idaho Dance Theatre.

“We hope this work of art will resonate with a wide range of audiences, Idaho’s conservation community, the arts community, and more, bringing us together to share this unique experience and sense of connection to our wildlife, our rivers, and one another,” Hansen said.

The performances also include premieres by Nathan Powell, Yurek Hansen, Meaghan Novoa, Lemuel Reagan, and a collaboration between Pivot Movement with choreography by Ali Landers and live vocals by Connor Wentworth.
