Office of the Dean of Students adds resources focused on outreach and assistance

To increase the accessibility of campus supports for students, the Office of the Dean of Students has created an additional unit focused on student outreach and assistance.

“Many Boise State students are reporting increased levels of financial need, stress, anxiety, isolation, and grief, all of which have negative impacts on their academics,” said Lauren Oe, associate dean of students.

The mission of the student outreach and assistance group is to guide students in overcoming concerns that are impacting their well-being and academic success by coordinating outreach tailored to address their specific needs.

Campus community members are encouraged to complete a referral form if a student would benefit from outreach or additional support. Brief information presentations can be arranged for departments or staff by emailing studentoutreach@boisestate.edu.
