Do you know a child who has always wanted to become a veterinarian? Here is their big chance! At the Idaho Humane Society from 9 to 11 a.m. on March 21, grade schoolers from the 5th to the 7th grade are invited to attend a “Junior Vet Tech Camp.” At this event, children will have the opportunity to experience:
- Exposure in the Vet Tech Career
- Discussion on animal body language
- Demonstrations of Fear Free handling techniques
- Practice vet exam skills
- Observe animals in the shelter
