Serratt’s expertise can be found in two articles: She explains how to understand different types of health insurance plans and how to decipher affordable health insurance options.
Serratt conducts health services research pertaining to issues of cost, quality and access to care, and she co-authored a textbook entitled “Understanding Healthcare Economics: Managing Your Career in an Evolving Healthcare System.” Serratt also developed and teaches a healthcare economics course for the Doctor of Nursing Practice in Leadership program, of which she is the director.
