In its 41st year, the President’s Writing Awards contest honors undergraduate writing at Boise State. All students are encouraged to participate and work must be submitted by March 17, 2023.
Undergraduate students from all majors are welcome to submit manuscripts. Two cash prizes will be awarded in each category: first prize, $200; second prize, $100. The eight categories are:
- First Year Writing
- Identity, Culture and Languages
- Civic and Ethical Foundations
- Critical Analysis
- Research-Based
- Creative Nonfiction
- Fiction
- Poetry
