A public hearing on the university’s tuition and fees has been scheduled. The hearing will begin promptly at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023 in the Blue Room at Extra Mile Arena. The entrance is located outside, between lobby one and four and signs will direct attendees to the Blue Room.
Current tuition and fees are set at $4,182 per semester. After four years of holding tuition steady, the university intends to request an increase, per Idaho State Board of Education policy, of up to $418 per semester, or up to 10%.
It is estimated that the increase will generate up to $12M to combat record inflation over the past four years and to maintain programs and services.
