USA for UNHCR, a national organization that supports refugees, featured Boise State alum Halima Hamud on its website for International Women’s Day on March 8.
Hamud graduated in 2022 with a degree in political science. During her time at Boise State, she amassed many honors, including a Harry S. Truman Scholarship. Originally from Somalia, Hamud arrived in the U.S with her family in 2009.
