Apply now for eCampus Center faculty research fellowship

Applications are now open for the 2023-2024 cohort of the eCampus Center Faculty Research Fellowship, an opportunity through the eCampus Center in the Division of Extended Studies that seeks to fund actionable research that impacts online student learning. Applicants must be a faculty member at Boise State University and research should be focused on online settings. Applications are due by May 10, 2023. Recipients will be notified of the results of the application by May 24, 2023.

There are particular areas of research priorities for eCampus Center. For this year, priority will be given to faculty conducting research in online education plus the following areas of research:

  • Open Educational Resources (OER)
  • SERP Populations
  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in online learning environments
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Learning Analytics
  • Implementation of new technologies in online learning
  • High-enrollment online courses
  • Supporting scalability in online learning

Four to six selected Boise State faculty will be provided with up to $5,000 to support their research, with additional funding available for conference presentations. Fellowship faculty also will receive mentoring and support from the eCampus Center Research and Innovation Team in conducting effective, inclusive, and ethical research.

  • 4-4:50 p.m. on April 19, 2023

This cohort of the fellowship will run beginning in Fall 2023 and ending in Summer 2024.
