Alumni Association, Honors College recognize 2023 Top 10 Scholars

Ten of the university’s graduating seniors will be recognized for their exceptional academic success at the 41st annual Top-10 Scholars Awards reception at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 4.

The scholars, joined by their supporters and professors, will gather for a reception recognizing each student’s achievements and the influence of faculty members on their success. Presented by the Boise State Alumni Association and the Honors College, this annual event recognizes the unrelenting spirit and innovative mindset of some of Boise State’s top-flight students and teachers.

Students are nominated by their academic deans and are subject to review by a selection committee. To qualify for consideration, a student must have a 3.8-grade point average or higher. The committee then selects students based on the breadth of their coursework, research, creative works and publications, presentations at professional meetings or conferences and extracurricular activity.

“The Top 10 Scholars students are deemed the top of their graduating class and should be extremely proud of their accomplishments,” said Lisa Gardner, executive director of the Boise State Alumni Association. “These talented students will soon graduate, and we look forward to seeing how they share their wisdom and experiences with their colleagues and communities as they move through their life and career paths as Boise State alumni.”
