Better Together Idaho is a group of Boise State students from diverse backgrounds. They share a desire to make our community more interconnected.
The group is hosting a free, public civic engagement fair for nonprofit and recreation-oriented organizations from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 29 in the Jordan Ballroom in the Student Union Building.
Organizers invite nonprofit groups from across the political spectrum, from across campus and beyond to participate.
“This is a great opportunity for students to get involved in the local community through recreation, volunteerism and local engagement. It is also a wonderful way to build a resume for future internship and employment opportunities,” said organizer Triston Brooks, a junior political science major from Boise.
