Fall semester has begun and campus is bustling. A chill has returned to the morning air and football season is in full swing which means Homecoming + Parent and Family Weekend is right around the corner. The Boise State campus community is encouraged to join in the fun and participate in the many activities planned to celebrate and show Bronco pride.
Boise State Clothing Drive
Drop off gently used Boise State clothing ahead of Homecoming + Parent and Family Weekend now through Oct. 6. All donations benefit the Campus Clothing Closet in the Gender Equity Center. There are four donation barrels set up in:

- Campus Rec lobby
- Albertsons Library foyer
- Interactive Learning Center lobby
Office Decorating Contest
Collaborate with colleagues to show off your school spirit and creativity by decking out your office in Bronco blue and orange. Register to participate for a chance to win own the traveling trophy for a year as well as a shout out during the Homecoming Pep Rally or Game.
Boss’s Breakfast Bowl
Campus is invited to the annual Boss’s Breakfast – Homecoming Edition where the Deans will challenge the Vice President’s in a friendly, but competitive Tailgate Takedown. The event is from 7:30-9 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5 in the Simplot Ballroom. The event is free for all to attend, but those wishing to purchase a breakfasts for $15 need to register in advance by Sept. 24.
Homecoming Parade
It’s not too late to register and participate in the annual homecoming parade at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 6. Student organizations, campus departments, alumni groups and local organizations are all invited to enter the parade. See the full details on the parade and pep rally website.
Bronco Spirit Contests
Break out your best Boise State gear and enter one, or all, of the Bronco Spirit Contests. Each day, entries will be featured on social media and winning submissions will receive prizes from sponsors Coca-Cola, Mountain America Credit Union and the Boise State Alumni Association.
