Kids from 5-14 years old will have the opportunity to play, learn and get moving with the College of Health Sciences’ annual Summer Youth Sports Program.

There are four two-week sessions: June 3-14 (Session 1), June 17- 28 (Session 2), July 8-19 (Session 3), and July 22- August 2 (Session 4). Morning lessons will be from 8 a.m-12:30 p.m, and afternoon lessons from 12:30-5 p.m.

Over the two week sessions, all groups will have the opportunity to play various field and gym sports, rock climbing, outdoor adventure activities, racket sports, recreational games and rhythmic activities. There is also a mountain biking session that requires a separate enrollment. All sports and activities are meant to help build coordination, skill development, teamwork and overall athleticism, and provide a fun, encouraging environment to play with other kids.

Registration opens January 26, and anyone who is interested in participating can visit the website to register and learn more (a FAQ page is also available). Please contact Kevin Blume, the program coordinator, at for questions or concerns.
