Adobe Acrobat Pro available at no cost for university-owned computers

The Office of Information Technology provides Adobe Acrobat Pro at no cost to faculty and staff for installation on university-owned computers. The office asks all users to please not download programs advertised as free PDF readers as they often include malware.

Acrobat Pro allows users to view, create, manipulate, print and manage PDF files. Additionally, Acrobat Pro’s Accessibility Checker tool can be used to help make PDF files accessible for people of all abilities. University Policy 8140 requires PDF files hosted on Boise State websites to meet web accessibility standards.

Employees can contact their department or college Adobe administrator to request an Acrobat Pro license, or send a request to the Help Desk at helpdesk@boisestate.edu.
