Construction on Beacon Street, between Euclid and Vermont Avenues, will begin Monday, April 8. Work is expected to be completed by the end of May. The project will widen the street and rebuild the sidewalks on the north side of the street.
Between Belmont Drive and Beacon Street, Euclid, Manitou and Vermont avenues will remain open. The alleyways connecting Belmont and Beacon Streets in this area will be closed. The north sidewalk of Beacon Street will be closed between Euclid and Vermont Avenues and pedestrian detours and/or traffic flaggers will be in place during the project.
