Boise State’s Academic Testing Center continues to expand its role in supporting academic success.
In the 2024–25 academic year alone, the center administered an impressive:
- 16,107 in-person exams during Fall 2024
- 17,140 in-person exams during Spring 2025
- 16,677 exams using ProctorU Record+, Boise State’s online proctoring solution
The Academic Testing Center is also seeing increased faculty engagement, with 78 new instructors utilizing either in-person or remote testing services this past academic year. This further demonstrates the center’s value as a trusted academic resource.
To better serve students, the center recently improved its exam appointment scheduling system. These changes have increased flexibility and reduced scheduling conflicts, especially during high-demand periods like midterms and finals. The result: fewer make-up exams due to full schedules and shorter wait times during peak testing windows. Long lines that were common in the past have virtually disappeared.
The Academic Testing Center remains committed to providing secure, reliable proctoring – both in its testing lab in the Simplot Micron Academic Success Hub and through online platforms as demand continues to grow. For more information on testing services, please visit the center’s website.
