Sadegh leads workshop in Albania for United Nations staff

Civil engineering associate professor Mojtaba Sadegh recently led a workshop for United Nations staff in Tirana, Albania.

This event was hosted by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and the United Nations University Institute for Water, Environment and Health, and centered on “E-mobility Transition and Sustainable Critical Raw Materials Management in South-Eastern Europe.

The workshop gathered policymakers, experts and stakeholders from government, industry, academia and civil society from Albania and South-Eastern Europe, including representatives from ministries, geological surveys, research institutions, and the private sector, alongside regional and international partners.

Sadegh’s workshop was a capacity-building session on the Water–Energy–Mineral Nexus digital tool, led by United Nations University Institute for Water, Environment and Health, and offered hands-on insights into data-driven decision-making for resource governance.
