The campus community is invited to an open house to thank Martin Schimpf for his year of service to Boise State as interim president.
The Idaho State Board of Education appointed Schimpf as interim president of Boise State in June 2018. He joined the faculty at Boise State in 1990 and has served in various roles, including provost and vice president of academic affairs, chair of the chemistry department, associate dean and dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, and as a member of the faculty.
The gathering will be held from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, in the Office of the President on the second floor of the Administration Building. Refreshments will be served.
