Jingxian Hu, an assistant professor in the Department of Economics, attended the invitation-only National Bureau of Economic Research summer institute. This summer institute is a three-week gathering of applied economists that takes place in Cambridge, Massachusetts, during July each year. The institute includes presentations and discussions of cutting-edge research by top scholars and experts celebrating and promoting the latest progress and development in each subject of economics.
