COBE Dean’s Dinner, College of Business and Economics

This past week, the Alaska Supreme Court cited an article co-authored by Mark Bannister, dean and professor in the College of Business and Economics, in the Meyer vs. Alaskans for Better Elections case. The article, titled “The Meaning and Purposes of State Constitutional Single Subject Rules: A Survey of States and the Indiana Example,” was published in the Valparaiso University Law Review in 2014. Bannister’s co-author was Justin Evans, assistant professor of business law at Georgia Southern.

The article has now been cited in state supreme court decisions in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Alaska.
