Join Ken Kwapis and Boise State Film and Television Arts adjunct professor, Elizabeth Rodgers for a virtual presentation and Q and A session to talk about Kwapis’ new book, “But What I Really Want to Do is Direct: Lessons From a Life Behind the Camera.”
The virtual event will take place at 7 p.m. Jan. 25.
For over three decades, Kwapis has charted a career full of exceptional movies and television, from seminal shows like “The Office” to beloved films like “He’s Just Not That Into You.”
Kwapis is among the most respected directors in show business, but getting there wasn’t easy. He struggled just like everyone else. With each triumph came the occasional face plant. In his new book, Kwapis tackles Hollywood myths. He shares inspiration, behind-the-scenes hilarity, the craft of directing, and the art of succeeding in show business without sacrificing one’s identity.
