Bronco Corps, a program from Boise State’s College of Business and Economics, facilitates high-impact, zero-cost internships for local small businesses and nonprofits to help them navigate the economic challenges posed by COVID-19.

Boise State students who take part in the program will work for selected small businesses and nonprofits in various roles and projects including finance and accounting assistance, marketing strategy, data analytics and reporting, business operations and more. Bronco Corps pays their wages, thanks to generous donors. Local businesses and groups benefit from the help.

“This program has allowed organizations to elevate and advance their work during a significantly challenging time,” said Laura Chiuppi, who manages the program. “Interns have been noted by employers as being instrumental to the success of advancing programming and operations.”

Bronco Corps began in 2020. Thanks to an anonymous donor, it has funding to continue through the summer of 2022.

The program welcomes applications from local small businesses and nonprofits. Apply here to work with a Bronco Corps intern at no cost to your organization. Applications close January 31, 2022.
